Located between Uzès and Nîmes, Le Comptoir Saint Hilaire offers its living spaces on 50 hectares of scrubland in the Cévennes with a spectacular view.
You will appreciate in the Mas the 10 Rooms and the 4 Mazets of great comfort with original decoration. The estate is perfect for large groups with friends, family with children, couples. We can accommodate from 30 to 40 people in all seasons.
Ideal for moments of relaxation, sharing and authenticity, in the middle of nature.

The estate has been completely renovated and moved in and has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces.

Inside, the spaces are vast and, from the Gallery to the dining room, from the library to the fireside, you will find places where life is good.

Outside, various terraces, balconies, vaults and shaded areas await you to share moments of conviviality, get together or isolate yourself at nap time.
The estate has two swimming pools, an oak wood and a huge park.

Located in the heart of the Gard Cévennes, many experiences and activities are available in the surrounding area:
Stroll through the picturesque villages, taste the local gastronomy and wines, visit the Uzès market, ride a horse, discover the Cévennes with your family, go deep into a bamboo forest, feel like a gold digger, dive into a Roman city, visit a cave, hike on the trails on foot or by bike, ... or simply relax around a game of petanque.

And then breathing, basking in the sun, dreaming, it's your parenthesis!

Nearby, you will visit the Duchy of Uzès, the Pont du Gard, the bamboo grove of Anduze, ... a little further away, Nîmes, Arles, Avignon and the Popes' Palace, but also the vast beaches of the Camargue.
From the Mas you can go hiking, cycling, horseback riding or quad biking.
The Gard and the Cévennes are home to many small Provençal villages: Vézènobres, a medieval village, La Rocque sur Cèze, ...
But also spectacular caves: La Salamandre, Trabuc or La Cocalière.
For thrill-seekers, the Alès mechanical centre has 10 car, motorcycle or karting circuits.
Possibility to go canyoning or climbing in the area.

You can reach the farmhouse by car. By train to Nîmes TGV station (30 minutes by car) or by plane to Nîmes Garon airport (30 minutes by car) or Montpellier airport (1 hour by car). Parking (free) on site.

The site is composed of an exposed stone building completely renovated and moved in for your greatest comfort. Also available are 4 stone or wooden Mazets spread over the property; numerous terraces, balconies and vaults to allow you to meet or isolate yourself for a nap or a moment of reading.

In the most historic part, you will find 4 lounges as well as a large reception room under a masterful glass roof. In front of the farmhouse, a large terrace covered by a pergola overlooks a magnificent park with the Cévennes as far as the eye can see.

You also have your disposal a swimming pool backed by a grove of umbrella pines and another small pool in front of one of the Mazets.
Relaxing or invigorating massages are also possible upon reservation.

We like to talk to our guests a few days before, in order to prepare your stay with us as well as possible.
We welcome you on your arrival to show you around the house and the property.
We remain at your disposal to answer all requests and find solutions with you that meet your expectations.

Optionally, we provide you with house staff for regular cleaning of the rooms and common rooms; as well as for the preparation and service of breakfast.
On request, we can also offer you the services of a cook or babysitting. And find any other type of service provider (hairdresser, manicure, ...)
