About this docked boat rental
New Moon is a stunning 44ft Boutique Narrowboat, she is easy to manoeuvre and has central heating, wood burning stove, comfy sofa and a dinette. We also include WIFI and a smart TV .
We also have another boat - Glyndwr which is larger than New Moon with an extra bedroom and is ideal for families or larger groups. Click on my profile photo below to see all the listings I manage

Perfect for couples or a small family....
She is 44ft long Cruiser Stern Narrowboat and a perfect size to easily moor & navigate - even for complete beginners.
Our beautiful Cruiser Stern Narrowboat, is 44ft long and the perfect size for couples. She is simple to operate, moor & turn even for a beginner and is fully equipped - all you need is food & drink plus a sense of adventure
She has plenty of outside space, a separate cabin with a 6ft wide master bed, full central heating and a wood burning stove which makes her super comfy and cosy.
Moored in the very centre of Ely you are only a 1 day cruise to Cambridge or St Ives, the only problem is there is too much to choose from.
Why not moor on Jesus Green, have a picnic by your boat on the river bank, dinner on board with a fully equipped kitchen or amble up to see the historical sights of Cambridge which are a stones throw away & dine in one of it`s numerous restaurants.
Your holiday route is your choice - you could stay for another night or visit t Ely, St Ives or the wonderful open space of the Fens - the only problem is there is too much to choose from.
But whatever you choose, will be beautiful and a holiday of a lifetime
She is ideal for a couple - all you have to do is stock up with food & drink and we take care of the rest. She comes fully equipped with everything you will need:

Central heating (yes she is super comfy & cosy!)
Double bed - with amazing award wining Emma mattress
100% Egyptian cotton linens
Wet room and flush toilet and luxury, eco friendly toiletries.

We welcome pets
For weekly or longer breaks, we meet you at The Lazy Otter, for shorter breaks we may be able to move the boat for you beforehand and meet you at Cambridge, Ely or even St Ives. Once you arrive, we give you the warmest of welcomes, all the training you need and after that, its up to you to get ready to make some amazing memories!

You will have access to the whole boat & it`s outdoor space, it`s is your own private space
We will always meet with you & give full training, then be on hand if your need us for anything, as much training as needed is included
Imagine mooring in Jesus Green, have a picnic by your boat on the river bank, have dinner on board with a fully equipped kitchen or amble up to see the historical sights of Cambridge which are a stone`s throw away & dine in one of it`s numerous restaurants. You can also cruise to St Ives, Ely, Wicken Fen, and The Lodes, it`s entirely your choice, route guides will be provided
Cruise on the River Cam & River Ouse, Go for a punt in central Cambridge you can also hire bike or scooter. Oh & of course grab a taxi.
Before you set off on your narrowboat holiday, we will give you a full handover, explaining where everything is on the boat, how everything works and practical training covering boat handling, mooring, locks, reversing, turning and boat safety.
We will spend as much time with you as you need and only let you go off on your own when you feel you are ready. All our instructors have passed the RYA Helmsmans certificate.
If you would like even more help, we can accompany you on your cruise as your personal `chauffer` and spend a whole day or more with you - contact Nicky to chat about what you need
Please note that mooring in Cambridge itself is restricted to a maximum of 4 nights
