I wouldn't classify the home as "luxury" but for our trip it wasn't priced in that category either. It was clean and everything we needed to enjoy a few days in Quebec worked as expected. I wish the exit instructions were in both English and French, but we managed to work around that too. The hot tub was a nice feature. We wanted to use the paddle boat but didn't feel it was worth the effort to empty all the rain water that had accumulated. The area was very quiet, what few neighbors exist were out of sight.I wouldn't recommend this home for light sleepers. The well pump isn't a problem during the day, but at night it only takes a toilet flush or two and the pump activates for a few minutes. We're a laid back group and it didn't really bother us, but your milage may vary.

Even at -9F outside, we stayed cozy thanks to excellent heating and two inviting wood-burning fireplaces. The 65" and 75" TVs with Netflix and Prime access provided great entertainment for family gatherings.The location is unbeatable - just 10 minutes from the ski resort, restaurants, and stores. The lakefront setting was magical, offering ice skating on the frozen lake, maintained by friendly neighbors. The hot tub was a daily highlight, perfect for relaxation after outdoor activities. Hosts ensured we had ample firewood and propane for the gas grill.Whether seeking outdoor winter adventures or cozy indoor relaxation, this home delivers both perfectly. It truly lived up to its name "La Dolce Vita" - we experienced the sweet life indeed! From the thoughtful holiday touches to the family-friendly amenities, every detail was considered. This is an absolute must-stay for anyone planning a winter getaway or family celebration. We were so impressed that we plan to return in the summer to experience this magical place again in a different season.
