About this apartment rental
Right in the heart of it all, yet completely quiet: In this cozy, well-appointed vacation apartment on the top floor (2nd floor/barrier-free/accessible by elevator or easily navigable stairs) right in the center of Kappeln, you’ll have both the shopping district right next door and several of the city’s landmarks in view.
From the small living room, you can see today’s city hall, a yellow brick building. From the large living room, step out onto the balcony, settle into a beach chair, and enjoy the view of the tower that defines the cityscape—with its green dome, lantern, and weather vane—belonging to St. Nicholas Church. In just a short time, you’ll make your way through picturesque alleys to the harbor, which has a dock for wonderful boat trips. You’ll pass numerous lovingly restored old houses that, among other things, house restaurants for every taste, and whose beautifully designed facades reveal many historical details of life in Angeln and Schwansen.
If you’re traveling by car, a lockable garage (including a remote control) is available on the property. The fine-sand Baltic Sea beach at Weidefeld is 6 km away, and the Geltinger Birk Nature Reserve is 15 km away.
The vacation rental is located in an apartment building. The elevator takes you to the 2nd floor, where a very tastefully furnished 3-room vacation apartment awaits you. From the large, tiled hallway—featuring a coat closet, a full-length mirror, and a small sitting area—you can access the two living rooms (one with a kitchen), the shower room (the shower is not at ground level), and a separate utility room with a washing machine and a clothes dryer. An open, well-equipped kitchen will delight both home cooks and breakfast lovers (dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and stove (ceramic cooktop) with oven). A cozy dining area for two and a large sofa in the spacious living room (with hardwood floors) invite you to relax. Each living room has a flat-screen TV. A small library offers interesting reading material. From the large living room, you can access the balcony as well as the bedroom (with stylish Nordic-inspired flooring) featuring a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a built-in closet. In the second, smaller living room (light-colored designer flooring), you can watch the goings-on in Kappeln from the recliner through the floor-to-ceiling window and let your mind wander. The windows are equipped with electric shutters.
The landlord guarantees free cancellation of the reservation up to four days before the start of the stay.
