A Casa da Concha

A very large apartment with an ocean view and a terrace for watching the sunset over the mountains (in May), located in a quiet area of ​​a fishing village (narrow, charming streets). It's perfectly equipped with everything you need. Very clean, well-maintained, and tastefully designed. The owners are helpful, responding promptly to questions and fulfilling requests (e.g., a kettle). We felt very comfortable and safe. The locals were very friendly. Sometimes it took a while to find a parking space (but there was a local celebration going on). Highly recommended!

The property was very well maintained, clean, spacious, and it was really nice having a kitchen area to cook breakfast. The balcony was nice to sit on aswell. There is also a nice small store just next door for buying things like eggs, milk and that kind of stuff. The owners of that store are very very nice people and let us borrow their phone to make a reservation which was kind of them. The beds were comfortable and good. The washing machine was useful. Generally this was a good place to stay and I would stay again.

If there was anything to dislike it would be the location. It’s not the nicest part of the island but we spent most of our time outside on hikes. So we can’t really judge it too much as we don’t have enough experiences there. But for the time there it was an okay area reminds me of like every other place I’ve been in Europe.

Spacious, well located, well equipped apartment in the center of Rabo da Peixe. The hosts were very helpfull and the communication was fast and clear. The neighbourhood looks a bit dark, but locals are actually friendly and harmless. Not to mention amazing view from a livingroom!
