The Happy Home – a classic Margs Experience

Very good location, comfortable beds with excellent linen which was nice to see. The kitchen was well serviced and the bottle of wine and chocolates were a delightful surprise and very welcome. It was great to have a fireplace.

I think the key situation is an issue. I did not mind parking in the carport and going around to the front door for the keys. My issue is that the only way to keep the front door closed is by locking it. With only one set of keys you are constantly going back to the back door to get them, just to open the front door. The other issue would be a safety one. If the keys are in the back door but your only exit is the front door which is locked by a key - in the back door...... Another set of keys would sort this out. A safety handle over the bath would also be very welcome. Two of us were over 70 and although fit and healthy with no rubber mat in the bath and no handle, showering became one of those "I must be careful, I must be careful" situations.

Very comfortable beds! Had everything we needed for our stay, great shower , lovely log fire. Close to town.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

The location was fantastic. The main bed was super comfy. Great to have basics like oil and sauces available in the kitchen. The kids loved the games and books.
