We are already booking our next trip here.
You will not find a better hotel in Bali or anywhere to be honest (I've stayed at my share of nice hotels and this one is my most memorable now) - the rooms are stunning, the view is epic, and the pool is beautifully designed. Everything makes you feel like you're away from the world just in nature, and yet every comfort is there and has been thought of.
The property's gardens are gorgeous and well cared for and the rooms are exceptionally grand in their design. Honestly I believe the place is more beautiful than the photos.
Staff are absolutely wonderful, there are nice activities to do through the week, lovely walks, and anything you can do from Ubud pretty much you can do here but in more tranquility and less bustle.
The food is wonderful, an unbeatable breakfast, and reasonably priced thankfully as theres of course limited options around. We didn't get bored of the menu and loved having so many vegetarian options.
I have no idea why people have rated Wi-Fi poorly, i streamed the reality tv show i was missing at home and there with no buffering at all, which is better than my wifi in London often!

If you’re after serenity, peacefulness, incredible views, friendly staff and mouth-watering food, this place excels at it.
No complaints.

Everything about this place was fantastic. “Resort” type set up, but with such authenticity to the local community and culture. We were tossing up between Ubud and here and so glad we made the choice to come here. Didn’t see another hotel nearby, just local houses and local people who were so friendly. Amazing staff and food too.
I loved everything. The only negative that others (not us) might find with the place is that there were a lot of bugs, frogs, dogs, cats etc. They didn’t bother us inside the room though. That’s what you expect when you are in the middle of nowhere and it adds to the entire experience.

I loved everything about it—the room, the views, the food, and the incredibly friendly and helpful team. I hope I can return one day!
The Wi-Fi isn’t 100% stable, which is a problem for online meetings.

In most accommodation places there is usually something that can be improved upon. Here we could not think of one single aspect that did not earn ‘10 out of 10’. The elevated location above rice fields with a jungle canopy in the background is just divine. Our upstairs ‘Joglo’ cabin had a huge balcony with large dining table and leisure chairs to relax and enjoy the view. The large bed directly faces big patio doors that open up onto the balcony. Everything in the room including furniture, equipment, and bedding is top quality.
We had probably the best shower of our entire trip with constant hot water available. The bathroom is partly open to the elements and when raining you have the unusual experience of a hot and cold rain shower.
An infinity pool faces the rice fields with plenty of sunbeds available. Gardens are beautifully maintained.
Food in the restaurant is also exceptional with unlimited a la carte breakfast choices, great range of all day food choices and good wine list. added to this are the exceptional staff made for a most relaxing stay. There is a self-guided walk available around the area which we can recommend, and there are plenty of other activities including yoga, spa treatments and other excursions.
Nothing could be improved upon.

This place was perfect. Very calm and peaceful. The staff were lovely, the food was good and reasonably priced, the pool was perfect, the rice fields were stunning. I was worried that there could be Mosquitoes, but there weren’t any. We had a 5month old baby, and we found that people were very accommodating (there were a few others with babies too). The gardens were very beautiful too. I will stay again!
The only thing I regret was organising a taxi to the location instead of a hotel transfer. Their cars are electric and drivers are good - so definitely worth it. It’s a few hours with traffic from the airport, so it’s worth being comfortable.

Location facing the terraced paddy fields
Attentive and friendly staff
Breakfast is on the poor side, very disappointing for the standard of the hotel

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they even organised a special meal for us that we requested but was not on the menu. They also brought some chocolate fruit for us as we had never tried it. The view was amazing. The room was quite spacious and had everything we needed.
The mattress of the bed was mouldy, which caused us some respiratory issues. We had to resort to sleeping on the sofa with the doors wide open. There was also a large gap between the door leading from the bathroom to the outside area, which made us feel somewhat uneasy as the nearby rice fields can attract snakes. They also told us to leave the lights on in the bathroom at night to keep bats from entering(?). The toilet seat was abnormally high, making it quite uncomfortable to use.

I had to stay in Bali for 6 weeks due to a knee accident. How lucky I was to receive this diagnosis while staying at the Dajuma Terrace Hotel. For me, this hotel is one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. As soon as you arrive, the view over the rice fields down to the sea is breathtaking. The open restaurant is also magical. Every corner is lovingly designed. Because I stayed so long, I was able to try out all the rooms and ate many dishes from the menu.
JOGLIO: For me, the most beautiful room of all, you sleep in a huge four-poster bed made of hand-carved pillars while enjoying a magnificent view. The bathroom is unique, equipped with a rain shower which is open at the top. There is plenty of storage space. You also have maximum privacy in Joglio 5.
SAWAA: A great terrace directly adjacent to the rice field. I was able to sit outside for a long time in the evening and even watch fireflies. The separate couch in the room is also perfect for watching TV or reading. The bathroom is huge, if a little dark. If you like the earthy scent in the room, this is the right room for you. The bathtub was rather unsuitable for me.
VILLA: Simply WOW! The entrance alone leaves you speechless. The private pool allows you countless undisturbed swims and offers a great ambience. The couch is super comfortable.
The staff are simply wonderful. Not a day went by without the staff having a smile and a friendly word. The manager also maintains personal contact with the guests. The regular events (dance performance, making offerings, dance lessons, etc) completely immersed me in the culture. The beds are very comfortable. The food is excellent. The crew try hard to fulfill every wish.
Perhaps the breakfast menu could be changed from time to time. Tubs in the bedroom would be an advantage. However, everything was top notch and of a high standard.
If you are looking for a quiet oasis of well-being in the middle of the jungle, far away from the hustle and bustle and exhaust fumes, you will find it at this hotel. Enjoy every moment, it's simply fantastic.
A big thank you to the whole Dajuma Terrace team!

Ecological and stylish design, all furniture is woodden and new. Enough space in the villa, amazing views from all the sides. Everything is comfortable and nicely organised. One part of the pool is deep enough for adults and water games. There are nice trails to walk and ride around the hotel. Amazing views on rice terraces and chilly strolls in the forest.
Not a lot of gluten-free options from food selection, so the menu could be boaring for a long time stay.

- beautiful hotel with great restaurant and pool

This was a great resort deep in nature but very modern and comfortable. The staff were great! We enjoyed most of the dishes from the restaurant menu (a few were average). We were pleasantly surprised that there were no problems with insects despite this very rural setting. Comfortable bed, gorgeous views in all directions.
Just note that the property is off the beaten path. On the first day we discovered that no ride-hailing service would collect us from here. We hired the resort’s own driver for one day. Good value. Apart from that, we spent full days at the property. This property is best for those taking a break from other activities in Bali. We went to other properties for our touring and restaurant hopping. But so glad we started off here in the quiet rice fields.

Difficult to know where to start, the place is absolutely gorgeous, at the top of a rice field, with a beautiful swimming pool.
The highlight was the breakfast, which is home made with local ingredients. The variety of options is wonderful (we tasted them all :-)

The property is 10 months old, all are new and well maintained.
Even more beautiful than what we see on pictures.
It’s in a calme palm, peace and serenity.
We wanted to context with nature and mission accomplished…

The room is one with nature. I really like the surroundings, the paddy field, and the fresh air all the time. The bathroom is also cool with opening on top, fresh air all the time. There's an issue though but very minor.
Bed, aircon, and other facilities are brand new, so, no complain at all.
The breakfast is not a buffet and to me this is great. Means that the food is prepared for you and not contaminated by people's hand like in a buffet.
Was doing my morning routine in the toilet. All went well until a giant wasp enter the toilet. The situation was so tense, I cannot move because I was just started and this monster fly around like it's looking for a prey. There was a time when this miniature dragon from hell land on a plant just half a meter from me. The situation was stressful and things were back to normal after the devil leave the toilet.

The view from the room was breathtaking, the room was splendid, the pools are beautiful and everything is clean, spacious and well designed ! The architecture of the restaurant is gorgeous and the food delicious (slight note for the brownies that were slightly dry but I'm picky because I am French) ! We also loved the cocktail selection. The Puri Dajuma facilities are by far the best place we stayed at in Bali. And the staff are both very helpful and very nice !

Tucked away in the middle of the rice fields, this hotel is an absolute sanctuary for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views create a sense of calm from the moment you arrive. The pool is incredible, perfect for a quiet swim with nothing but the sound of nature around you. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, adding to the overall sense of warmth and relaxation. If you’re looking to truly escape and relax, this is the perfect place.

We loved everything about Puri Dajuma. It is spotlessly clean, the staff are always friendly and accommodating. You can bike ride, do yoga, learn to cook, have a massage or read a book by the pool. The view over the rice paddies is beautiful. Enjoy a cocktail at twilight and watch the sunset. It is peaceful and restful.
There is nothing we didn’t like- We loved our stay

I fell I love with this hotel! Everything was beautiful, great attention to detail immersed in nature with sweeping views of a rice field, plantations, jungle and the coast in the far distance. Beautiful gardens, infinity pool and architecturally interesting main building and huts made of teak. Tasteful Balinese or pop music in the background. You can tell how much love and attention was put into this boutique hotel. Designer elements throughout from the architecture, the furniture, the landscaped gardens. Also a very comfortable stay. Hardly any mosquitoes or disturbing noises, so we slept very well We spent three days hiking or cycling with the complimentary e bikes in rice fields, to a waterfall, through picturesque villages. Or swimming and resting at the beautiful pool. We ate all our meals there. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Great variety of tasty breakfast options too Finally, the people. The staff was so friendly and helpful, going out of our way to make our visit comfortable. We were lucky to meet the dedicated, knowledgeable and kind manager of the hotel who dropped by our table a few times. One thing we learned from him is that the Balinese culture is based on respect towards the gods, fellow humans and nature. We felt that Puri Dajuma embodies the true spirit of Bali.We miss it already.Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

The breakfast was delicious and substantial. Rooms were beautiful - bathrooms with outdoor showers were the best! The resort is just beautiful built around rice fields. Pool wow!
We liked everything. Being new they hadn't finished their entertainment room etc but we didn't need it.
