The location was perfect. The apartment was bigger than I expected and very well fitted out. It had a pleasant appearance with art on the walls. The bed was comfortable, the living room was as well, with a TV with Netflix. The kitchenette was compact but convenient. Electric oven, gas hobs, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Dishwasher tabs were provided and there was even ice cubes prepared in the freezer. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good, I had no complaints about the apartment itself, or the building it was in. The few neighbours I met were friendly and polite.

The front of the building was undergoing building work which meant I had no access to the balcony (indeed, the balcony doesn't exist at the moment! The door leads straight onto scaffolding... Also, because of the building work, the entrance I was told to use was locked and unavailable. There was another entrance on the other side, but I had to ask locals in the street to find it. The key code worked at that entrance as well. Fortunately, my experience was that people in Warsaw are generally friendly and happy to help.
