Serenade Cottage in the Country

It was a nice getaway!

The WiFi and cell signal weren’t the greatest, for example the WiFi made the tv keep buffering and completely wouldn’t work the first night and was spotty for my phone as well as the bed wasn’t comfortable (I like softer beds and it was too firm for me but that’s just personal preference)

Secluded and quiet.

Nothing

I loved everything! The place was absolutely beautiful. The people were very gracious and allowed me to access the property the night before check-in to set up a Christmas tree to surprise my son who was coming into town for the stay. Everything about it was so cozy. All the comforts of home (even better than home for some of us)! The location is so perfect for my family and so easy to get to (roads are clean and smooth, easy to navigate). And they have the best behaved dogs I've ever met who made lovely neighbors during our visit. I love the doggy treat jar just inside the door for us to make friends with the furry grounds keepers!

I didn't like that the time flew by so fast and we had to leave. I didn't like feeling like an idiot because I had to ask how to operate the kitchen faucet and had to Google how to operate the washing machine and coffee maker because these things are much newer than what I have at home.
