Lovely quiet village. The neighbours were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The pub was only a short walk away and was dog friendly. The food there was really good and everyone was friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
The advert was a bit misleading by saying there was a dining area, washing machine and wardrobe. But we managed by using the lap trays provided and hung clothes on the hangers provided. For us, there was everything we needed for a short stay.

Clean, comfortable and in a lovely village
It could do with a small table and folding chairs as it didn’t feel right eating breakfast on the sofa. It was a little chilly to sit outside and eat breakfast while we were here

The location was good for us as it was in the centre of everywhere we wanted to visit. The lodge was clean and the welcome food basket was a lovely touch. The owners were great and were quick to respond to queries. .
It wasn't really equipped for self-catering as there was only a toaster and a bog standard microwave, which if you're planning on eating out every night, it's fine. For us this wasn't what we wanted and for a week it was difficult trying to get a variety of food to eat, so for this reason I would not book again.
