Prospectors Inn

We had our own kitchen fully equipped with dishes and utensils. Free wifi and TV channels. Coffee maker, microwave, toaster. Awesome shower, ample parking, close to highway and shopping. Very quiet and accessible. Office staff was very knowledgeable and readily available for assistance by phone although not needed. Although there were fancier hotels and motels nearby with continental breakfasts we had separate bedrooms which are costlier and not readily available in other hotels. We shopped around carefully before choosing this one and were not even expecting such a large size accommodation like a suite and we felt secure in this unit with no direct access to the outside as in most motels. Fully modern, comfortable and although not built originally as a hotel the conversion was admirable and affordable for our needs. I travelled with my daughter so it definitely met all our needs.

There were a few dips at the roadway entrance and pot holes in the parking lot having lived there most of my life it was expected with all the frost and climate variations. The entire town has roadwork needs every spring which never seems to get completed. It's a work in progress and expensive. There is an interesting miners memorial nearby and a museum. Being a thriving gold mining town it has a lot to offer.

Fits our family of 6, we had a 4 bedroom. We have been twice now and we find this property is best for us. It is clean and usually quiet. They provide fans for you and we were lucky that it was mild at night, so we could have the window open.

The driveway and parking is very lumpy and lots of pot holes

Room was clean. Fresh linnen. Bed was very comfortable. Baseboard heaters were very efficient to warm the room.

There is no complimentary instant coffee or tea in the room. Checkout is earlier than industry standard (10h versus 11h).

Plain Jane. No working tv, no hair dryer, nothing extra. A sibling trip so liked the fact we each had our own bedroom. Beds were clean although not hotel sheet quality. No staff on site so not real comfortable with area being next to corrections facility

Hmm. Lots
