Die praktisch und zweckmässig eingerichtete Wohnung liegt im 6. Stock (es gibt einen Lift), ist sehr hell und verfügt über zwei sonnige Balkone (einer Meer-/Bassinseitig, einer Richtung Winterstadt). Zentral gelegen, zu Fuss 10-15 Minuten ins Zentrum/Schiffsteg. Ein eigener, reservierter Parkplatz im Innenhof gehört zur Wohnung.
Gut zu wissen: Wohnung hat keinen Geschirrspüler; es gibt leider aber auch keine Geschirrtücher. Und sehr wichtig: Bettwäsche muss separat gebucht und bezahlt werden.

(Good & Bad) The apartment is well equipped in many ways, with some quirky furnishings and decoration; there is even a washing machine in the shower room. Access to the apartment is very easy, especially with the lift. However, it did appear somewhat tired and neglected in parts, with some clutter, although some aspects of our stay were very good. The apartment is on 2 levels, separated by 8 stairs (without a handrail); this would create problems for anyone with mobility issues, and was not shown on the Booking.com information at the time of booking, although it was referred to in the Interhome information received after the booking was confirmed. There are 2 balconies, one at each level. The front, North-facing, full-width balcony overlooks the sea and has a magnificent, 180-degree panoramic view of the coast and beyond from the sixth floor. The patio table and pair of chairs allow for super sea views beyond the apartment block and houses opposite. The back, South-facing, full-width balcony, emerging from the bedroom, has views over the local neighbourhood. There were 3 large plant pots on this balcony, each containing dead plants, together with an empty watering bottle. Soon after arriving, we found that the toilet seat was broken. One of the two fixing brackets was missing; this made it very awkward to use the seat. We reported this to the management office the next morning; they said they knew about it and would be fixing it after we had left. The shower is very good, especially with the two shower heads. However, there aren't any hooks to dry two bath towels after showering. There are two old clothes driers in the apartment, but we wouldn't use them for our clothes, or white towels. We used the backs of chairs. (Continued)
(Good & Bad - Continuation) There are plenty of glasses, mugs, crockery, cutlery and kitchenware; however, there wasn't a tea towel for drying the tableware. The double bed is not really a double bed since it comprises 2 single mattresses with a double sheet on a flat frame, allowing the mattresses to slide apart. The Wi-Fi Box Identification, shown on the check-in information, is wrong, by one character. The apartment is located in a residential area at the western end of the town, although not the beachfront location shown in the Booking.com information. There is no boulangerie in the vicinity, and the nearest place to buy bread in a morning is a Carrefour Express, about a 10 minute walk away and only from 8am. The hospitality area, towards the middle of the town, starts at about a 15 minute walk away; there is a good variety of restaurants. There is no information in the apartment about local amenities (such as a boulangerie), tourist leaflets, recommendations, etc. We have previously found such suggestions and advice in other properties to be very useful. There is a list of, mostly irrelevant, 'rules' and operating instructions for a few appliances. Towards the centre of the town there is a shop housing an office solely for Interhome properties, which indicates the number of such properties that they run. The office staff were very friendly, obliging and helpful. We travelled by train. On our arrival at the office, we enquired whether we could leave our bags there for a few hours after checking out; the timings were explained and agreed. After checking out and returning the key to the office, the staff offered again to look after our bags which we left, signed a form and confirmed that we would collect them soon after 2pm. We returned at that time, but the office was locked. After 3 frantic phone calls, continual bell-pushing and banging on the door, someone unlocked the door after 2.30pm.
