This is a well equipped and very stylish accommodation. I cannot remember sleeping in such a comfortable bed. I was so lucky to be able to book. I go to the area for fork from time to time in and I will happily choose this over other places.

Nothing to dislike.

The hosts were very welcoming. They were very inviting and helpful with recommendations of places to eat and walk, and kind enough to check in with us when we first arrived & before we left. The addition of homemade granola and sweet treats were a bonus. The kitchen/dining area overlooked a lovely little courtyard with a very busy bird feeder, which was wonderful to sit and eat said granola whilst bird watching. The walks around were plentiful and scenic, and the drive to Richmond was only 12 minutes. There are supermarkets and shops nearby, and the location in the old village of Colburn was quite and relaxing. The small kitchen with the boiler and the dryer above was PERFECT for drying walking gear after a rainy hike. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a walking retreat, or a base to relax and shop around North Yorkshire.

The kitchen would benefit from some cooking oil or fresh butter to help with making food prep more enjoyable and user friendly. The non stick pan was great, but the electric induction hob took a while to heat up on option 2, and heated food/burnt a bit too quickly on option 3. Some cooking oil or butter would help to bridge this gap and making cooking more enjoyable in this lovely location.
