Maison au cœur d'une ancienne ferme à BAYEUX

Spacious house - a great choice for a large family or two families. The spaces in the house are beautifully decorated and set up for a comfortable stay. When you arrive, you feel right at home rather than in a temporary place to stay. Large yard with a terrace and grill - we used it for dinners and evening get-togethers. Highest recommendations!

Fully equipped and modern kitchen however the place is fabulously quirky. Bathrooms and loos distributed everywhere in the house which easily accommodated seven lads. Huge well equipped garden with sun all day. Everything about it was a pleasure.

Six of us decided to make the Maison au coeur our base for a visit to Normandy. We would all give it five stars. One walked in and said, “this place is very cool”. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and roomy. The house has plenty of space - inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We opted not to stay in the centre of Bayeux. The walk from the Maison was easy - no more than 20 minutes. It was a lovely walk, mostly following the river. If we ever come back to Normandy, I know we will want to stay at the Maison again.

I did not like the fact that I couldn’t stay there forever.
