What truly makes this guest house special is Shifath, the manager. Her professionalism, kindness, responsiveness, and genuine care make a huge difference in the overall experience. She goes above and beyond to ensure guests enjoy both the stay and the city/region themselves, offering extremely useful local tips, recommendations, and guidance. Her warm and human approach instantly makes you feel comfortable, welcomed, and looked after. THANK YOU SHIFATH! The guest house is very well located, in a gated area that feels safe and convenient, whether walking around or taking boda bodas (restaurants, street food, banks, supermarket nearby). I also really appreciated the outdoor garden space with its relaxed eco-recycling atmosphere, the covered communal area, and the artistic touch with local crafts and artisan items available on site. The staff overall were friendly and pleasant. A real plus was having warm water in the shower, which is not always guaranteed in Uganda, as well as decent WiFi that allows you to work remotely if needed. However, there is no backup generator during electricity cuts, which can occasionally be inconvenient.

A few renovations and simple add-ons could really help the place display its full potential while elevating the experience. Some parts of the rooms and common areas feel a little dated or improvised at times, but with a bit of refreshing, the guest house could become an even more charming and comfortable place while preserving its authentic charm and welcoming spirit.

A quelques minutes de la gare de bus LINK. L'emplacement central de la ville, le jardin de l'établissement, et SURTOUT la gentillesse de la manager SHIFA (vraiment une très belle personne !) et de tout le staff.Je retournerai avec un très grand plaisir chez GAIA. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil

Glücklicherweise hatte ich den Dorm alleine. Sonst wäre etwas wenig Platz fürs Gepäck, aber machbar.

Sehr zentrale Lage. Netter Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeiten, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhaltnis, sehr freundliches Personal

Zimmer sind klein, das Bad ist nicht mehr topp, aber mehr darf man für den Preis nicht erwarten.
