Das Apartment ist sauber, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bett sehr gemütlich und weich. Besonders nachdem man mehrere Nächte auf einer Iso-Matte im Zelt geschlafen hat. ;-) Der Übernachtungspreis für eine Nacht im Apartment ist ungewöhnlich günstig. Das war schön!

Von den vier Fenstern gingen drei zum Garten einer Nachbarin, die sich viel und mit anderen laut unterhaltend bzw. laut telefonierend darin aufgehalten hat. Das hat uns in dem Moment nur wenig gestört, da wir zwei kühle Regentage im Appartement überbrückt haben und dementsprechend das Fenster nur im Bad angekippt hatten. Aber im Sommer und bei warmen Temperaturen stelle ich es mir störend vor. Das vierte Fenster ging in den Innenhof, in dem die Bewohner aus dem Vorderhaus geraucht haben. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. In den automatisch versendeten Nachrichten mit Informationen zur Buchung/Anreise, befand sich eine Telefonnummer, mit dem ausdrücklichen Hinweis, dass sie telefonisch oder per WhatsApp erreichbar sind. Jedoch gab es weder auf Nachrichten oder Anrufe eine Antwort oder Reaktion auf gestellte Fragen.

Der erdgeschossige Bau im Hinterhof ist ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig, auch der Zugang ist nicht ganz einfach.

It is difficult to write something positive about this place due to the arrogant communication of the owner due to which the stay left unpleasant impressions. The flat itself is reasonably clean, tidy and modernly finished.

FIRSTLY – the check-in procedure requires significant improvement. Guests are required to collect the keys at a different address than the apartment itself, which is both impractical and inconvenient. Installing a coded key box at the main entrance would solve this issue and bring the process in line with standards commonly seen across Europe. SECONDLY – the host’s requirements regarding stripping the bed linens and cleaning every single item used are highly unusual and raise concerns. I fully understand the need for basic tasks, such as taking out the rubbish or washing the dishes, but the way these obligations were phrased could easily suggest that guests are expected to clean the entire apartment. In my opinion, this is unjustified for an accommodation of this class and price. THIRDLY, and most importantly – communication with the host left an exceptionally negative impression. The information sent on Booking was misleading, and the photos of the keys were inconsistent with reality. I got photo showing two keys one black and one lilac with circled that lilac one was for my apartment. Upon arrival only keys with black rubber grips were available, which understandably caused confusion and concern. Afterwards, the host attempted to claim that she had sent a photo of the black key. I have attached the original photo I received in order to avoid any further manipulation of the facts. Additionally, all communication was conducted exclusively in German, despite the property being listed on international platforms. Most troubling was the host’s overall attitude, which was marked by arrogance and a tendency to manipulate facts. A similar tone can be observed in her public replies to other guests who left critical reviews, where instead of addressing concerns professionally, she attempts to discredit and to belittle the intelligence her clients. I travel extensively around the world. This is the first time I have encountered such an unprofessional approach to a guest.
