The Enchanted Stone Cottage

Great location, beautiful gardens, tidy and had everything you need for a fantastic little get away. So nice to relax on the deck with the birds flying round and listening to all the sounds of the wildlife at night. We had the fire going at night and even tried out the pizza oven. Great stay away for our family.

This property is absolutely beautiful - it feels like something straight out of a fairytale, and we genuinely didn't want to leave. It was cosy, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing couple of days. I loved that there were little nooks everywhere, inside and out, where you could sit with a book or a glass of wine. I won't share photos because half the joy is discovering these spots yourself. My three teenagers, who are usually glued to their phones, spent hours on the swing seat on the verandah and wandering through the gorgeous garden and spotting the different fruit trees. The property was spotless and had everything we needed, right down to the pizza trays. Check in was simple, and there was plenty of parking. If you are looking to get away from the stress of everyday life, this is the place to go - you won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous cottage, lovely outdoor setting and close to town centre

Too big for 2 people, too cold- heating not sufficient, despite wood fire. Had to buy fire wood, this should have been supplied for the huge cost per night. Not clean, front door lock hard to open and close, same back door, no heating in bedrooms, way too cold and uncomfortable. Only pantry item was. Very small milk, old tea bags and no other staples so I have to buy everything. Not good value for money.
