Loved being at the end of the road. No traffic. Way out in the boonies..it was perfect
Didnt like buying the wood for $20. Locals near by have wood for $5 same size...but the wood we got for $20 a bundle was very hard to start/keep going. Seems like alot of moisture was still in the wood..

For the cost of the stay and considering it is a very old building, I understand there are limitations. However, the hot tub had a filthy ring around the edge and the towels and linens were very poor.

Cool authentic log cabin. Great location. It was comfortable and hot tub after hiking awesome. Loved the front porch. For the price, however, I’d expect it to have a better bathroom (small shower—not a great shower head, better quality linens (hodgepodge of towels, some frayed), and larger bed (seemed like a full versus a queen). The fire pit had trash in and around.
Price too high for what you get—but easy fixes—good scrub, upgrade all linens, and put in a king bed. I’d have no issue if I had paid < $200/night.
