We were a bit nervous as 2 friends had dropped out so it was just the 2 of us girls. This can be a bit intimidating in Malaysia as tourists get stared at a lot outside tourist areas. However, the 2 women next door were very warm and friendly always waving when they saw us and it made us feel relaxed almost immediately. It's a lovely quiet local neighborhood a short walk from some convenience stores. The house can get a bit hot in the sun but the aircon works really well in all the rooms with big fans that circulate the air nicely. Internet worked great and there was lots of complimentary water and coffee. Big fridge and dining area so easy to get comfortable and enjoy some cooking and meals. Clean and all the bathrooms doors worked really well. Although there is a very very slight drain smell that you get in most of Malaysia, it doesn't escape into the rest of the house because of this. In fact the house smelled lovely because of the little air fresheners. Super easy check in and out with nice pictures that match the outside so easy to find. It's a short grab ride to the more touristy area that does boat rides etc. If you are at all nervous by nature like we were the courtyard has a lock in addition to the house doors so you feel extra secure at night and leaving our belongings

Only have 1 shower room and it's not equipped with heater. Have to use manual key to open door and gate.
