Banana River Resort

Not much to look at outside but the inside is great.

Overall our stay was good. The staff was helpful our first night getting there which was nice because we showed up at midnight & they were still available. The beach is right across the street & so nice when compared to some of the more public entrances (Coco beach pier access, etc. ) & you can take the beach chairs & boogie boards with you. . . Just be sure to bring it all back otherwise you’ll be charged way more than the items are worth. We stayed in unit #4 & while the unit was clean there is definitely maintenance needed. The main bedroom leading out to the back looking over the river, that door would not close, the wall & door jam was separating several inches & you can tell the handy person has no idea how to properly fix it. The bed in that room was terribly uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattress which was unfortunate. In the kitchen, the paint used to paint the kitchen table & chairs was not meant for furniture thus making the table & chairs feel sticky constantly no matter how much I wiped it down. While we were there we had 3 days of rain which then resulted in the roof leaking in the hall way outside the bathroom & 2nd bedroom creating a decent puddle on the floor. There was a unit we got to peek into right next to us, unit 8 that was fully remodeled & very nice. So if we booked here again it would have to be that one.

We stayed 2 nights in the "boathouse" suite. Was very cute! We loved the easy check in & out. We loved the location. The back was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The couch "pullout" was not. The washer/ dryer was nice to have, though, at no additional cost. Our cons though- it was dirty when we arrived: the floors were dirty & covered in sand/ dirt. There was old food leftovers in the fridge & very few towels provided- you have to wash them yourself if you need more!! The "amenities" were terrible!!! False advertising to say the least!! My brother was excited to fish, as it stated all fishing equipment was available - the poles were broken & had nothing for them. They mainly had only little kids beach toys available. We chose this place (& paid the higher $) because of said amenities, so that was very disappointing. Everything else was manageable for 2 nights & we loved Cocoa Beach!

We loved everything about our stay! Everything was so clean and nice. I texted them to ask a question and they answered promptly and efficiently. Perfect location on the Banana River yet the beach is across the street. We were excited about the paddle boards and we took them out and we were out on the water for hours! This time it was just me and my significant other celebrating our anniversary and it was just perfect! Next time we plan to come back with our girls! We live about a hour away so just perfect! Thank you so much!! We can’t wait for the next visit!! 🤗
