    The hotel is older yes. It could use some love. It’s also next to the LRT station. Which can have unhoused people nearby. I never saw any. But you can hop on the train and get into the downtown core quickly. The location is central city. The room was clean, the bed comfy. They had a complimentary breakfast with hot items. It’s pet friendly and the price was reasonable. The staff were great. The parking lot well lit. I personally would stay again. My husband whose a little higher class- he’d probably choose a place double the price that is shined up a bit more.

    With the price we paid during a public holiday, and the mixed reviews online, our stay was great! Room was small but clean, not new but also furnitures were in okay conditiin, bed was so comfortable and staff were polite. The hotel’s location is accessible and lots of shopping and food around. Breakfast included which is a plus.

    The beds were a dream, clean and comfortable. I wanted to mention that the picture that was posted by a guest with the dirt in the bathtub was a stain, not dirt. We got the same room. Lol my largest disappointment was that the restaurant was closed for renovations, and there is no coffee or tea in the room. The rooms are for sure dated and not perfect, they could use some tlc, but they were ok for the price we paid. This location is awesome for restaurants and thrifting, and shopping. Everything is very close. I didn't see the homeless encampment and I looked for it after reading the reviews. 🙂 The odd unusual person would walk through the parking lot, the same as every city in the world I would say. The parking lot is really big and it was so easy to have a nice parking spot. I would stay here again. The pool is great. If you're particular, stay somewhere else. If you want a great deal, and are ok with walking across the street for coffee, driving a couple of blocks for Tim's, being close to shopping and restaurants, this worked for us. The front desk staff were great.

    Only recommended because it was clean and very reasonably priced. Definitely needs updates. Furniture was threadbare and paint peeling on the tub. Per the staff, the rooms and facilities are being renovated over the next year.
