Welcome to the listing for Dream of Paradise Ranch in beautiful and magical Finland 🥰 We’re so glad you found our little cottage!
Three years ago, I moved to this beautiful country with my animals, and not a day goes by without me being blown away by the nature and the weather... Whether it’s spring, which starts later here but brings everything to life in a flash; summer with its endless warm midsummer nights; fall with its endless variety of berries and mushrooms, or winter—which is anything but dark and captivates you every day with its dry, pleasant cold, the glistening snow, the bright nights, days filled with pastel colors in the sky, or the indescribably beautiful auroras that regularly dance across the night sky...
But also the feeling this country radiates.... the endless expanses... no houses for kilometers on end and empty roads running alongside lakes, through pristine forests, and endless nature where you sometimes don’t encounter a single car for kilometers. A country where you feel that time passes more slowly… where you perceive and experience nature and the moment in a completely different way… a feeling that recharges your soul, while your mind savors the silence and tranquility, and you simply want to linger in the moment. In harmony with nature... nowhere else have I experienced such respect for nature and animals as I have here. You’re immersed in another world—a slow and peaceful one where you can let your soul unwind, whether by the lake after a sauna session, around a campfire, while hiking with your four-legged friend or family, or simply gazing out into the distance... An endless array of recreational activities throughout the year ensures that every day here is unforgettable and special, and you’ll experience the meaning of “being blown away” and merging with nature on a whole new level!
And before I ramble on any further, let me first introduce you to our beautiful farm in North Karelia, where EVERYONE is warmly welcome! Your four-legged friends—whether dogs, cats, or horses—are welcome too. It makes no difference to us if you have one dog or 20, and you can be completely honest with us—we won’t judge you! There’s NO extra charge for your four-legged friends!
The farm consists of the main house, which is 170 square meters and spans two floors. It has been freshly renovated and is currently being redecorated in a colonial style; of course, we’re making sure to include an extra dog sofa or child-friendly furnishings so that everyone’s needs are truly met! It can accommodate up to 12 people! It features a large open-concept kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and—a true rarity—a second bathroom with a whirlpool tub and a second toilet! Plus, of course, a traditional outdoor sauna! Several large brick Finnish fireplaces are essential for creating that cozy, warm atmosphere and are perfect for rustic cooking! The property also features an air-source heat pump and underfloor heating. An outbuilding with a stable also welcomes equine guests! And, of course, one of the absolute highlights: a 5,000-square-meter, 1.20-meter-high, dog-proof fenced-in garden awaits you! Plus another 5,000 square meters of endless meadows and forests surrounding the house! Another highlight is undoubtedly the sandy beach on the lake, located just a short distance away (500 meters)! And sandy lake beaches aren’t something you find everywhere here. Plus, of course, there’s a typical Finnish barbecue hut available for everyone to use!
So, a little paradise awaits you—with just one neighbor—in an otherwise idyllic, secluded setting surrounded by nature in North Karelia, not far from the city of Joensuu. You’ll be centrally located yet completely at one with nature and all its charms.

The well-equipped kitchen features, among other things, a refrigerator, a stove for cooking, and even a dishwasher.
You’ll also find a washing machine in the accommodation that you’re welcome to use.
A parking space is available for our guests. Our vacation home is child-friendly: a crib and high chair are provided. The property is ideally located for beach lovers.
Another great perk: bed linens and towels are included. Pets are allowed in this vacation home.
