Kayaking and boating is available from 4 local marinas with plenty of bluffs to please your eyes or test your bravery if you dare to take the plunge. Bring a fishing pole and catch your dinner from the shore. Book a tour to Sugarloaf island and watch for eagles. Janssen’s Lakefront restaurant is walking distance from your backdoor with a menu that would compete with any 5 star steakhouse. If you’re a golfer there’s 4 courses 10-25 minutes away. Waterfall viewing, fly fishing for trout or view the JFK dam museum, trails, disc golf in nearby Heber Springs. Enjoy river floats in close proximity also.
