About this cottage rental

This charming pet-friendly holiday home in Harre, Belgium offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Located just 100 meters from the forest and 5 km from a tranquil lake, it's perfect for families or couples seeking relaxation. The nearby town of Durbuy, known as the smallest city in the world, is just a short drive away and features cobbled streets, boutique shops, and the scenic Topiary Park. History lovers can explore the Logne Castle ruins or visit the Manhay History 44 Museum, which commemorates the Battle of the Bulge. The property features a cozy living room with a fireplace and a projection screen for movie nights. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, combination microwave, and dishwasher, while the dining area comfortably seats four. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with a single and children's bed, make it ideal for small families. A bathroom with a bathtub or shower, central heating, and outdoor amenities like a terrace, garden, barbecue, and pond complete the experience. For dining, guests can enjoy local flavors at Le Patton Restaurant in Manhay, La Fourchette Paysanne for Belgian specialties, or Biotanique, known for healthy European cuisine.

We enjoyed our stay with our dogs. Very cozy, in the middle of the woods. You can go for a lovely walk/hike. Very friendly owners. Owner living speaks French, English and a little Dutch. The goats greeted us cheerfully at the house in the morning. Don't take good hygiene into account. (This might be a point of attention and replacement of the sofa. Maybe leather for maintenance and hygiene). We brought our own couch blankets and bedding. It was fine. During the day you can go into the woods and in the evening you can all snuggle up by the fire. For us absolutely come back again! Thanks for the hospitality, kind regards 😄🐾👍🏻
