About this apartment rental

About our location

Our large property is steeped in tradition, having been initially housing staff for the Chateau and formally then a hotel.

We are in a peaceful location with countryside garden views, yet just a few minutes' walk to two restaurants/ bars and five minutes’ walk to the heart of historical Le Dorat’s main square with its bars, restaurants and boutique shops. The local train station is walking distance and gives access to Poitiers, Limoges, Paris and beyond.

The pretty courtyard and large garden are home to fruit trees and a wonderful array of wild birds. With sunny spots and shady areas to relax and enjoy the wildlife and views of the country

Your Apartment

Apartment 3 is a bright airy modern one-bedroom self-contained apartment fully equipped for a home from home stay.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with stove, hob and facilities for tea and coffee. The room also houses a lovely dining nook separate from the salon perfect for enjoying some of the local delicacies from the weekly village market.

Through into the salon you can stretch out on the comfortable couch to watch some TV or grab your shoes and head out to explore town with the boutique shops and wonderful walks along the historic ramparts.

For those looking to relax, grab a bottle of local wine from the shops and chill out in the gardens.
Finally, when it’s time to turn in for the night, you will enjoy a king-size bed with EMMA mattress, in the light and spacious bedroom off the salon.

Your apartment is also fitted with a lovely shower room and washing machine to complete the ensemble.

Guest access

Guests will have secure access via the complex’s communal front door entrance which then leads onto your private apartment with its on locked door. There are only four short stay apartments in this boutique accommodation and all are owned by the proprietor.

You will find ample parking spaces at the front of the property.

Sorry there is a strict no pet policy.

Guests can smoke in the courtyard and garden but we ask you respect our strictly no smoking policy in the hall or guestrooms.
