A very cozy house where you feel right at home. We really enjoyed our stay; we were warmly welcomed and always felt at home. Elisabet and her family are very friendly; they go out of their way to create a pleasant atmosphere for their guests and offer great tips on excursions. The location is beautiful—exactly how you’d imagine Sweden to be, with nature and lakes. We’d love to come back!
Grindstugan is an old log cabin that has been modernized in stages. Here you’ll find a bit of shelter and are close to the forest. The house is located about 60 meters from our private beach. Outside the house, there is a table and chairs.
There is a loft with three single beds. You reach the loft via a fairly steep staircase. There are handrails, and it’s easy to climb up.
On the first floor, there is a modern kitchen with a fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, and coffee maker. There is also a living room with a dining table and a small sofa set. The sofa can be converted into a small double bed.
The bathroom has a toilet, shower, and washing machine.
On the beach, there are tables and chairs for use by us and our guests.
Boats for rent are moored by the beach. There is also a sauna available for rent on rainy and chilly evenings.

This little cabin is an absolute gem! Small, cozy, with everything you need and nothing you don't. It feels like the family get-away cabin you never had, small but so comfortable and surrounded by a lush green area that looks out on a pristine lake. Elisabet is kind and welcoming, making you feel immediately at home. Perfect for a couple, or a small family with kids. I didn't want to leave!
