About this house rental
Welcome to "Sand Dollar!" This property was just purchased, and I cannot wait to share it with you! Sleeps 9 guests and includes 4 bunks.
Are you a boater and want to bring it on your stay? There is plenty of room in the driveway, and the nearest boat ramp is 2 minutes away!
The closest beach is a 4.5 minute drive to the heart of Ocean Isle.
As you walk into the home, you will be greeted by a large foyer that has a pub style game table for your puzzles and games. To the left is the "master retreat;" did someone say "soaker tub!?" It's large to enjoy a relaxing soak with a glass of wine. The family room offers a large screen TV over the mantel and huge sectional. In the dining room and kitchen area you will find an inviting fully equipped kitchen with a walk-in pantry. Down the hall you will find the full size washer & dryer along with the Queen bedroom and bunk room which share a connecting full bathroom.
On the back porch, enjoy the sounds of wildlife with a margarita before you hit up Ocean Isle for dinner.

Everything was convenient, the only surprise was how much the house smelled like smoke/skunk for a non-smoking property.

The check-in was easy. The house itself is roomy and clean. This is the first VRBO that we have been to that the beds/linens were clean. The neighborhood is nice. Work needs to be done on the floor between the washroom, bathroom, and back bedrooms. There is a huge dip. We placed a basket as a marker so as not to step in that spot for fear of injury to us and/or more damage to the floor. The dishwasher’s detergent dispenser is broken. The stove does not work well. There are instructions on how to turn it on. However, the burners will not warm up. The plumbing needs work. The toilets clog very easy and the tub in the master bath gurgles when the dishwasher is running. Sounds like water is backed up. Our daughter sent a message over the app about the dishwasher and the owner was very kind and replied in a reasonable amount of time. These sound like major problems, but we were able to work around it and still enjoyed our stay. The owners are kind and whoever cleans the house should teach other VRBO cleaners what to do. It was nice to be able to lay in a clean bed after traveling for 16 hours. The instructions for check-out are also very simple. It was nice to rent a VRBO with plenty of towels/wash cloths provided. They even provide hangers.

We had a nice stay. Definitely would be back. Max was very easy to communicate with as we had a few issues that came up, and he was right on it.
