About this cottage rental
Redfish Cottages are nestled on Lyndhurst Lake which is 30 min north of Kingston. The lake itself is a kayakers dream as it is part of a 4 lake system thats works its way down to the town of Gananoque.
The main street of the village of Lyndhurst is but a five minute walk from our three cottages. Lyndhurst offers a playground and public library as well as a take out restaurant . In addition "Wings" live bait shop has all your fishing requirements and you will definitely enjoy unique shopping at the Green Gecko. There is also a great waterfront walking trail at Furnace Falls Park which is adjacent to our Historic Stone Bridge. Each one of our two bedroom cottages offers a spectacular view of Lyndhurst Lake. Guests spend countless hours enjoying our fire pits in the evening. Each cottage has a screened in porch as well as complete kitchen amenities.
Propane BBQ''s and complimentary canoes are also available to our guests.

Rental process was simple & straight forward. Owner/landlord met us promptly for friendly check-in. We rented 1 of 3 cottages available at this location. 15min drive to nearby Charleston Prov Park, where we also had a large Group camp site with other family & friends. Small town nearby (Lyndhurst) for local supplies if needed
Cottages located right on shore of quiet lake. Canoe available for each of 3 cottages, with a large, shared dock. This would be a great location for multiple family or separate groups staying together for sharing activities, food etc. and still manage some privacy. Cottage was roomy with large, enclosed porch and well-equipped kitchen, plus large TV with satellite or cable.
We didn't know the renters of other 2 cottages; but, they seemed friendly...absolutely no concerns or complaints. Would definitely consider renting again.

Hosts are really kind people and helpfull, it was a pressure to meet them 😊
The cottage and lake are places where you can relax and regain energy so it’s sure that I recommand this place and Hope to come there again!
