About this space
Nestled in the pines on the south side of pristine Pickerel Lake of Oneida County, this recently updated cabin is the epitome of Northwoods rest and relaxation and located just off the Bo-Boen snowmobile trail.
The space
Enjoy the fine dining, shopping, and entertainment provided in St. Germain, only two miles away, or in Minocqua and Eagle River, both within fifteen minutes of the cabin. Satisfy the call of the wild on hiking, biking, ATV and snowmobile trails within 1.2 miles, or take a kayak or canoe trip across the lake to the remote American Legion State Forest.
This recently updated cabin is the perfect spot to book your family or group’s getaway. The cabin is situated overlooking the lake with stunning views no matter the time of day. It has two bedrooms (queen beds in each), one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen/dining area, and an open living room. This cabin boasts a spectacular three seasons room with amazing views of the lake and the unscathed forest mirrored in the waters of its opposite shore.
Fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, boating, and all the serenity a gorgeous Northwoods lake has to offer are only a few steps away. Follow the short set of stairs down through the pines to the water’s edge, dip your toes in the lake off the edge of your private pier, and watch the eagles soaring high overhead or perched in the pines right above you. 1 kayak, a paddle boat, a canoe, and a rowboat are available for our guests to use. We also provide a charcoal grill, and there is a bonfire pit overlooking the lake.
Thousands of acres of state forest land within walking distance or a short drive provide excellent hunting opportunities for grouse, woodcock, deer, bear, and more. Fall is a beautiful time to hike, bike, or ATV through the Northwoods, and when winter arrives, some of the best snowmobiling in the world is within seconds of this cabin. Adventure, explore, and enjoy Northern Wisconsin’s rugged outdoors while being only a few minutes away from the luxury of a modern and comfortable lakeside cabin!
We do rent the cabin out during the summer months (May-Oct) along with a second cabin but that is under another listing.
***The pier sections that extends from the main platform will be available from the middle of May through the end of September.
***Pets are allowed but there is a $50 non refundable pet fee for each pet per trip.
***Must be 25 to reserve our proeprty.
