Our girls weekend to Mount Dora was made even better by the beautiful home we arrived to find. Great neighborhood that is a nice walk into town and yet close to Renninger’s for the events. Very clean and offers all of the comforts of home.

As 2 couples we stayed for 3 nights at the start of our 3 week road trip holiday. The house is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. It has a very welcoming and comfortable feel, and is furnished to a very high quality. The very large screened in porch was brilliant and we spent a lot of time there. There was also a spacious deck to the rear but we just didn’t have time to use it.The host, John was incredibly responsive, and called ( in one of his fab vintage cars ) to ensure all was ok.We enjoyed the property so much we booked for the last 2 nights at the end of the holiday. It was the time of Hurricane Helene and John got in touch with us to make sure we were safe, as he had an idea of the Route we were taking. He also let us know the house would be available a day prior if we needed to be in a safer area, which we took him up on.He and his wife were wonderful hosts, and we spent some enjoyable time with them. But regardless of that, I can only fully recommend the property, and it will now be our first call for accommodation whenever in Mount Dora.

It was a beautifully restored 1950s cottage on a quiet tree lined street several blocks from downtown Mt. Dora. Our host was very attentive to our needs and shared the history of the area. We were very comfortable in the house and plan to return.
