The house was as listed. It was clean. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen of any rental we have ever stayed in. There’s a closet full of board games for the quiet moments and a shelf full of guide books for figuring out hikes in Shenandoah. Thank you for hosting us.

Home was 10 miles from Massanutten, very convenient for our family trip. House is well appointed with dishes, cups, linens, etc to have a comfortable stay. Also, if you're a tea lover, there is a great variety of tea bags which are soothing after being on the cold slopes. Owner was kind in allowing us an early check-in and very responsive! Would absolutely stay again and the neighbors were also very kind. Family restaurant across the street from neighborhood was very convenient although I'd stay away from the pork, either old grease or an off flavor. Our favorite Lavender Farm, White Oak, was only 19 miles away. Very, very convenient to the places we wanted to visit with many restaurants and venues not too far away. Highly recommended!

Pictures are accurate. The house was conveniently located to all the places we needed to go. The view of the mountains on the porch was beautiful. While this doesn’t reflect the property itself, the neighbors & other areas had political signs out so do with that information as you wish. I would have appreciated getting communication through the app instead of waiting for an email considering we did all our booking in the app. A few suggestions we have:
-Need a ramp to get up to the upper floor of the house for those who aren’t necessarily handicapped but it’s challenging to use stairs.
- Leave instructions on how to use tv. We could only use the apps on the tv which weren’t live tv options. It would’ve been nice to download our own (YouTube TV) & delete as needed.
- Need a Kerig coffee pot.
- Need some plug-ins
- Handicap bar for shower in hall closet
- Headboards for bed
- Repair loose floor boards in back bedroom
- TVs in bedrooms
- update instructions on fireplace. It does not mention that you have to push in the knob to turn it.
Overall, it was nice. Some things could’ve been better but it served its purpose. I recommend going to Thunderbird Cafe for brunch!
