About this house rental
Cozy and clean waterfront home on Raber Bay. Enjoy the view from the large living room windows, front deck or lawn. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, boating, birdwatching and more in a peaceful setting. The shoreline is a mixture of rocks, sand and clay. Water shoes are recommended.
The home is a single level home requiring 3 steps to enter the home. The home has a wood burning fireplace and a large laundry room. A fish cleaning shack is located on the property.
This amazing getaway is positioned at the end of a short, private road. The driveway is circular and there is ample parking for vehicles and trailers. The home is conveniently located between the 2 public boat launches in Raber. A private boat launch is just down the road for a minimal fee.
The home is equipped with WiFi and a smart TV in the living room. A mini split air conditioning unit cools the main living areas of the home. Each bedroom has a fan for your comfort.
***During the winter, Raber Bay can be accessed from the property by snowmobile, cross country skis or snowshoes.
During warmer months (when the ice is gone!), a dock is on site for your small fishing boat. 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards are available for guests to explore the nearby island, shore line and bay. An outdoor firepit is available for guests to enjoy. Firewood is provided for guests.
Drummond Island, Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace are all within an hour drive from the house.
**We allow 1 well behaved dog with a $25 per night pet fee**

This place is awesome- very well kept, very clean and comfortable and the views are fantastic! They allow pets so we brought our dog, which made our family trip feel more complete. Kayaks and paddle boards are included, so that’s a huge bonus, we got out on the bay quite a bit - Missy and Don are easy to get a hold of when needed and are wonderful hosts…this was our second time staying and we will definitely be back again- thanks for sharing your beautiful retreat with us!

Everything about this property was perfect! My husband , 4 kids and I, stay at many Vrbo properties across the U.P. This one was amazing! My littles loved watching the freighters and swimming at the end of the dock. It was quite spacious and had just about everything we needed and then some. My husband and I renewed our vows at Point Iroquois Lighthouse in Brimley while we we're there so having a nice home to go back to was important. Everything turned out so special. We hope to go back someday soon. Thanks again for the memories
