About this house rental
Come and relax in the quiet Village of Jefferson Maine. Our Blue Lobster Cottage has a water view out the kitchen window and from the screened in porch. We are two blocks from Dameriscotta Lake and the General Store with groceries and more. Don’t forget to stop across the street from the General Store for an Ice Cream Cone. It’s the best! Kayaks and more can be rented in town and they will deliver and pick up when you are finished. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and bathroom down stairs and two single beds in one bedroom and one double bed in the other bedroom. One half bathroom upstairs.

Kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and old world charm. You might find yourself living on the screened porch. Lots of room for playing games at the table. Or relaxing and reading a book. We truly hope you enjoy Blue Lobster Cottage as much as we do.

This is a very cute and quaint rental. It is like staying in a cabin for a camping trip, the beds are not very comfortable, and only one bed had bedding on it, so I had to make up extra beds with mismatched sheets I found around the house. The lights had to be plugged in, and I had to find the hot water heater down in the basement to turn on. There were a couple mice so we stored all food in the fridge. The main bedroom bed is two mattresses on a box spring on an already high frame, my parents needed a step stool to get on and off it, it was not safe. It is an adorable rental, great for a little family get away, just not the most comfortable, or safe for older folks.
