Once the location of the Post Office in Clam Lake, Pony Express is the perfect getaway for those who love the outdoors. Right outside your front door, you have direct access to the groomed snowmobile trails and ATV trails (plenty of room for trailers). The Chippewa River is steps away from your back door where you can put your kayak or canoe in and paddle right into Upper Clam Lake. There are numerous lakes nearby, miles of great trails and not to mention thousands of acres of National Forest to explore.
This Northwoods cabin sits on 350 feet of the Chippewa River and offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, open concept living and dining room spaces that walkout to a wraparound deck overlooking the river. A metal spiral staircase will lead down to the lower level where you will find a gas stone fireplace, 1 double bed, futon couch, wet bar, washer/dryer and the second full bath.
You're only 3 blocks from a gas station and grocery store and within walking distance of Clam Lake's restaurants and shops.

Great location, plenty of parking for large trailers and trucks. Easy access to fuel, food and restaurant/bars.Only downside was no air conditioning and it was hot when we were there : ( Owners did bring a couple of fans when messaged them.

It was very clean and a great property. Within walking distance to stores and restaurant. Very friendly neighborhood. And right on the SxS trails. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger coffee maker. Other than it was perfect. I would rent it again.
