Mindful Neighbors: This is the third floor penthouse unit of a 3-unit complex. Downstairs noise may be heard from time to time.
Flight Path Note: The San Diego Airport flight path passes nearby; occasional airplane noise may be heard, but no flights between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am.
Safety First: Exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices are in place for your security.
Beach Ready: Complimentary beach towels, chairs, beach umbrella, and beach toys for your use.
Age Requirement: The primary renter must be at least 30, and all adult guests must be over 30, excluding families.

Don't forget to report any damages, issues, or upgrade suggestions—we truly value your feedback! Check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless a late check-out was pre-approved. Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you for staying with us!

We loved this home so much that we came back for a second year in a row—and somehow it was just as amazing the second time.
I wrote a detailed review after our stay last year (4/21/25), and I stand by every word of it. If you want the full rundown, I'd encourage you to check that out—but the short version is: this place is still one of the best beachfront rentals in Mission/Pacific Beach. The location, views, comfort, and overall experience are just hard to beat.
What really stood out coming back this year is how well everything has been maintained. The home still feels fresh, clean, and incredibly well cared for—something that's not always guaranteed with vacation rentals. It honestly felt just as special as our first stay.
And once again, Drift Properties was fantastic to work with. Just like last year, they were responsive, friendly, and helpful without ever being overbearing. They've really nailed that balance, and it makes the entire experience smooth and stress-free.
At this point, it's more than just a great rental—it's become a bit of a tradition for us. Huge thanks again to the owners and to Drift for another incredible stay. We're already hoping to make it three years in a row.
