About this house rental
Escape to a secluded, spacious retreat atop a forest bluff! With an open layout, our home is perfect to relax and spend quality time with your family and friends. Play a game of pool, sip coffee overlooking expansive views, or make s'mores by the outdoor fire pit. Look around the house and you'll find games, books, and art pieces and decorations handmade by our family! Or, swim, work out, and visit the game room at the owner's club.

Main floor
- Spacious living room with TV, games, ample couches, and blankets
- Fully equipped kitchen with ground coffee, drip and french press coffee makers, utensils and dishware, pots/pans/cookware to cook and bake, toaster, and more
- Dining room overlooking the trees with seating for 8
- Walk out porch with gas BBQ
- Laundry room stocked with cleaning supplies
Lower floor
- Large seating area and 65in Roku TV equipped with high quality speakers
8ft slate pool table
- Screened porch, completely secluded by the surrounding forest
- Full bath
- Bedroom with King bed and yoga mats
Upper floor
- Master bedroom with full bath and walk in closet
- Bedroom 2 with Queen bed
- Bedroom 3 with Queen bed and twin bed pullout
Out front, you can sit around and enjoy the fire pit! Wood is provided near the driveway.
Guest access
All of the house is available to guests besides a couple of storage closets. The garage is not available to guests.
Other things to note
The house is ~2 miles (5 min drive) to the Galena Territory Owners Club. Here, you can enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool, game room, and workout facilities. It's 10 miles (a 15 min drive) to Galena.

The host was very accommodating to us and we appreciate his kindness very much. The house has lovely big rooms. We did feel that the heating system was not well-balanced (upstairs was very warm, main floor was cool, and lower level was unusable because of the cold. Various other things need attention: loose door knob, “singing” toilets, non-functioning RO system. But none of that kept us from having a great time.

Perfect for a bachelorette weekend! We were in awe when we pulled up to the house! Check in was easy and straight forward. We were provided with all information on the community amenities. It provided plenty of space for the 7 of us and our three cars, with no issue. There were some minor nature issues involving spiders and a bird, but overall we could not have been happier. Tony and his team are wonderful!We also highly recommend The Haunted Galena Tour Company! Bootlegger Ted is a terrifying treat
