About this house rental
Beautifully done real log home with views that go on forever. With parking right at the door, you'll enter a spacious "great room' with a wall of glass looking to the view. Cozy up to the fireplace in winter or head out to the deck in the warmer weather to enjoy the views. The kitchen and dining room are right around the corner. Easy to get to the side deck from the kitchen, because someone needs to attend to the grill!

This home is absolutely gorgeous and immaculately clean. In twenty years of renting, this has to be one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed at and the view is fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. Communication was excellent and the Christmas tree was an unexpected and nice touch for a Christmas vacation.

We've been renting North Carolina mountain homes for almost 20 years and Dolly's Ridge is one of the best we've stayed at. Franklin is a sweet little mountain town, easily accessible for groceries and shopping as well as to Highway 64 for fun fall drives to Highlands and/or Cherokee.
The home's amenities are great - a modern and well equipped kitchen as well as 3 bedrooms on 3 different levels (for privacy when you have had a little too much 'family time'). We found the home super clean and April, the property manager, was very responsive. A nice surprise was the Verizon jet-pack for "portable wi-fi" in the mountains. And, though we didn't start a fire, thanks for plenty of firewood had we done so.
A beautiful home we may return to soon.
