Beautiful Renovated 2 Bedroom Apt Takoma Pk

We stayed 8 days beginning July 1st, 2026. Janell's communication was great. The instructions provided for arriving, accessing, setting the alarm, accessing the TV line up, and things to do at check out were accurate and thorough. Other than popcorn & coffee, we did not cook anything so I can't speak to the kitchen amenities. Bathroom and laundry area were as expected. The queen bed in the master bedroom was too firm for our liking but some people may be fine with it. My one recommendation would be to add a dresser, when staying for more than a couple days we un-pack our suit cases and we can only hang up shirts, pants, and dresses. So shorts, socks, under wear, and the likes have no home. Overall it was a good place for us to stay while exploring Washington DC. Only about 6 miles from the Washington mall so about a 25 minute drive each morning we drove in to see the monuments and centered between the three airports in the area. We flew in and out from Baltimore/Washington International so it was about a 45 minute drive. We would definitely stay again.

It was the perfect size for the three of us. Safeway within walking distance. Jenell and Pete were great host. I would definitley recommend them of you are planning a DC trip

Janell is an excellent host, very responsive. The location was perfect for me, especially since I stayed for a month. Easy access to transit, Whole foods, Safeway and Target. Walkable area. The unit was comfortably furnished, nicely laid out, and had a lot of windows. The kitchen was well equipped. I would stay there again.

My sisters and I (all in our early 60s) stayed here for 3 weeks while the youngest had and recovered from surgery. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Any questions we had were immediately addressed. The hosts were there to show me where to park and unload on the first day, then made a point to be respectful of our privacy and responsive to our every need/special request. The neighborhood was new to us, and we enjoyed its centrality and amenities. It is safe, walkable, has easy access to Safeway, Target, CVS, and Whole Foods (both by foot and car), and has fabulous restaurant and food delivery options. We could not have found a better location to be ensconced for 2 weeks of 24/7 work, recovery, and rest.
