Melbourne Luxury Penthouse in prime location

The view check in was easy

How far away shopping was amd the main bed was not made properly it was not tucked in at the foot of the bed which i had to do myself disappointing. I also asked for early check in amd a late check out which was refused untill 930am morning of check out when I was offered extra time if needed to leave property. This would have been handy to know before I rented a car to store my bags till check in at 3pm and after check out at 10am as the Oaks wont store bags because the apartment is part of the private penthouse residences above the hotel also the restaurants wont deliver to your room again because its part of the private penthouse residences amd they only deliver to your room if you stay at the oaks hotel. Again disappointing as I had to use the lift which are unbearably slow to order my food then return to room then go back to collect food then back to room to eat would have been easier to use Uber Eats with 1 trip to collect food not 4 as food wasnt ready by time stated which resulted in extra lift time up and down. Nearly 2 and half seconds per floor i counted when having to travel to the 24th floor =alot of time in the lift. Also the building does move in the wind so be aware of that, its a very different feeling on the 24th floor when it sways almost give you a motion sickness feeling dont stay here if you have motion sickness at all. First time Ive felt this in Melbourne and I've stayed in 10+ hotels and apartments all over the city. I must say probably worst penthouse I've been in due to the swaying which has an awful motion sickness attached to it. Worst Oaks stay ever the other 2 Oaks in the city are much better and no swaying. Also the spa was slimy and the pool slippery all the extras of a hotel but none of the delivery to your room.

Amazing property. Well presented and clean, and well appointed. Location is ideal for a trip to the city to see shows and shop. Restaurant downstairs is fantastic. Instructions are clear and logical and you can’t fault the communication with the property managers. Quick responses to messages. Thank you for a great stay. It made our four day trip easy and a little luxury thrown into the mix.

Great location, view is great, roomy, host very responsive

It was perfect

The location is absolutely outstanding. We were within a short walk to everything that we needed, along with trams right on the corner. Nightlife available if you wanted it, along with convenience stores close by if necessary. The beds were comfortable and apartment spacious. The apartment had most things that you would need for staples of cooking (although we didn't).

The TV was a bit frustrating to work, but we really didn't use it much. Making sure that there are a couple of toilet rolls on hand would be an added benefit (particularly for this amount of money), as running out and none at the 7-Eleven was not pleasing.
