Pierrecondotel

The "Pierrecondotel" is a part of a 40-floor building, where Pierre and Beth work together to manage the rental of a handful of them. This makes it different from a hotel in some ways. At the reception entrance there is a security guard, not a standard 'receptionist', who has all the answers, So, if you need something, you will call either Pierre or Beth. I was called in advance, be sure to save the telephone number (also listed in the room) And ask for Messenger etc. At arrival I was received by Beth who also took my luggage to my room. Both Beth and Pierre are there, in the building, I ran into both of them many times. Very helpful, and they responded immediately the few times I called, from early morning to midnight. Without a reception, this is of course critical, but it worked perfectly. The Room is small, I'd estimate 20 square m, incl. toilet. My room was "unpretentious" - no flower pots, cosy lamps or art on the wall. Well equipped and functional. On the wall was a list things you could ask for, possibly at some charge. But in my room, all I could have needed was there already: A small kitchen with utensils, microwave and water-heater, TV, sperarate fridge and cold cabinet, sound system. Multi-220V-extender, with USB charger. Closet, hangers etc. A small dining table and two chairs., you should arrange with Pierre/Beth to have it done Location: Important for me was the internet speed over the mobile phone, over the Globe-account I got in the airport. You should consider doing that too, as local registration can be a bit of a headache elsewhere. Speed was excellent, in the couple of hundreds of mbit/s. From experience I know that you in Manila can be on a worse location, with a weal signal, so this is a hidden asset of Pierrecondotel. I did not see a reason to test the local WiFi. Parking: is not included. If you need parking - motorbike or car - you should expect 250 PHP/day.
