Super friendly and personable hostess. Absolutely amazing. Out of all the hotels I've been to, she was the best. She was able to direct me to great places to eat, she provided services like laundry and was able to help book tours, and she was available to help with transportation if needed. Her sister runs a restaurant up the road like a 3 min walk, she was great too and the people around the restaurant were great too. One of the people i met there, Jai, convinced me to go kayaking. Jai was quite outspoken, and i would have never went kayaking, but i agreed and I'm so happy i did. Jai set me up with the company, gave me a lift (on a motorbike which was the first time I've ever ridden on one, and Jai was very safe), and made sure i had a return ride. Kayaking turned out to be amazing, as my first time doing that too!. Also, There are many cats, and as a cat lover, I made friends with the best, good kitty ever! She visited me every day. I didn't know her name so I nicknamed her Eureka, because thats what she seemed to exude each time she discovered I was outside. Eureka, He's outside! Eureka, he'll pet me! Eureka, he has food! Best kitty ever! Also, there were many chickens and it was fun watching the hens with all the chick's foraging. I came at a time they had recently cut down the banana trees and the new buds were just growing. I bet it looks amazing when they are fully grown. There's also a cow on the neighbors land. All the animals just made this place feel like home.

There are a few things that I'll mention. But, don't take them as something that'll ruin your stay. First, The proximity to the road makes for a noisy evening. If you're in bed by 1900-2000, this might be a problem. It quiets down around 2100-2200. It's not the cars but the motorcycles. I was able to sleep comfortably each night, and even the nights i went to bed early. Secondly, a perk that would have been great would have been a lounge chair. Something comfortable to lay back in. The outdoor seats were nice, but you could only sit up straight. Finally, the 3 units are very close to each other and felt like someone could just look into your room. However, there were very good blackout curtains, so this wasn't an issue. Either way, it didn't feel very private.
