Longji Terrace Lost In Beauty Guest House 龙脊梯田野望民宿

Beautiful views. Very helpful staff. They also arranged for us an amazing driver to pick us up from Guilin. We loved her and used her a couple more times. The first people we met that were speaking English. They gave us a low down of hiking routes etc. They also helped me when my tooth broke with finding a dental hospital and evaluating options for which I'm eternally grateful. Meals were very tasty at the restaurant downstairs (a bit on the pricier side). They helped us all the way from and to the car with our luggage. And they even put a bed guardrail for our daughter's bed - which was amazing.

It was pouring rain while we were there so we struggled a bit with our 3 year old but that is no reflection on the hotel. Thanks to the staff advice though we took the cable car to one of the hilltops and saw the beautiful Longji terraces fully flooded and beautiful.

The service from each and every staff was superb! They are really helpful and made our 2-nights stay so comfortable. Our room was a tad tiny but the view overlooking the Thousand Layered Terrace was stunning. We spent a good part of the morning sipping tea and reading while enjoying the view. It is well located although you need to be quite fit to navigate the steps. The in-house dining serves up pretty good food. We particularly enjoy the organic bamboo chicken soup and we ordered that teo nights in a row. Breakfast was alright - a simple bowl of noodle soup with an egg and sweet potato at the side.

We like everything about the place except that it might not be so accessible for someone who is not so nimble.

Beautiful location, right in the middle of the rice terraces and at the foot of three easy to follow trails up to the viewpoints. All staff are lovely, many generations run the place. Ximian has amazing English and was super helpful booking my buses to and from yangshuo and Guilin and arranging picks ups from the bus stop. Delicious dinner, I am vegan and they were very accommodating, delicious coffee. The room was simple but tastefully decorated with a big bathtub overlooking the view. Amazing value for money.
