Aosta Holiday Apartments - Monte Solarolo

It was clean and spacious and in good condition overall. We didn’t find anything broken or unmaintained. There was lots of closet space allowing us to put luggage away and stay organized for the 6 nights we were there. Location near old town was great allowing us to be in close walking distance without being right in the middle of all the traffic and noise. The parking lot next door was helpful for loading/unloading but was fee parking that requires the meter to be fed a couple times a day so we ended up parking a ways away and walking quite a bit extra in order to have free parking and avoid the hassle of feeding the meter.

There was a freestanding hose-style air conditioner provided in the living room which was very appreciated as that is where our 4yo son slept on the pull out bed. However, that hose was not compatible with the type of windows in the apt so there were large gaps around the hose that let a lot of heat it and made it difficult to maintain a reasonable temperature during the hot summer nights we were there. And it was impossible to get any of that cooling into the bedroom at the back of the apt where we were sleeping so we had some pretty hot and uncomfortable nights. If a 2nd AC is not an option, then just a couple of extra fans in the apt would have gone a long way to maintain comfort.
