Rizes Traditional House

Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt!! Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber, exzellent ausgestattet, ruhige Lage mit Einheimischen, Flughafen nur 20 Minuten entfernt, Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Tür, Waschmaschine vorhanden, Klimaanlage in jedem Raum, sehr nette Dorfbewohner, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe (Auto aber zwingend notwendig)

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass die Unterkunft ca. 45 Minuten von Rhodos Stadt, 60 Minuten von Lindos und 45 Minuten von Tsambika Beach, Anthony Quinn Bucht usw. liegt. An der Unterkunft selbst ist nichts auszusetzen und für uns war die Lage in Ordnung, aber mit viel Fahren verbunden, weil wir auch viel sehen wollten.

The house was spotless, beautiful, and very spacious. It looked exactly like the photos, with no surprises. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. There were a few minor maintenance issues that were a bit inconvenient. For example, the coffee machine had a crack in the water reservoir, and some of the mosquito screens in the living room and kitchen were stuck, so we couldn't open them. As a result, we were unable to close the wooden shutters to block out the sunlight or outside light. Fortunately, this only affected the living and kitchen area, so it didn't have a significant impact on our stay. We informed the owner about these minor issues during our stay. They responded quickly, apologized, and assured us that everything would be taken care of. We really appreciated their prompt communication and willingness to address the problems.

Great place. Kitchen is excellent, bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We had no issues sleeping in them. The sofa is large and has room for many people if your traveling in a large group. It's a surprisingly peaceful village rental in May considering that it is located squarely in the heart of Fanes, area becomes silent around 22:00, 22:30.

I wish that there was a bathroom upstairs but I can understand architectural constraints. Additionally, this is not necessarily a bad thing, but the location is rather far away from the center and tourist hubs like Rhodos City, Faliraki and Lindos. We knew this and purposely selected this but if your idea is to stay here and go into city or Faliraki, it's quite far even with a car.
