Amazing location, right on the Grande Place

Information on leaving the keys on departure could have been clearer - I ended up locking myself and the cleaning team out by mistake !

The location overlooking Grand Place is fantastic. This apartment has lots of space and great potential, but is held back by the issues we encountered. It is very convenient in relation to sites to visit in Brussels.

Our stay at this Brussels apartment was disappointing and raised serious safety concerns. While the listing looked appealing, the reality was far from what was advertised. Cleanliness: The apartment was not properly cleaned upon arrival, with dust, stained and dirty carpets throughout, and an unpleasant odor in the bathroom. Maintenance: Several fixtures were broken, including bathroom fittings, electrical wiring, hot water, and the heating system, which was unreliable during cold weather. Safety Issues: The shower floors were extremely slippery with no anti-slip mat provided. Exposed electrical wiring near the bathtub and bathroom sink posed a hazard. Most concerning, the emergency exit stairs were completely blocked by several bags of dirty laundry, creating a serious fire safety risk. Amenities: Promised features such as reliable Wi-Fi and a functional fireplace were either missing or not working. Communication: The host’s response was slow and unhelpful, leaving critical issues unresolved during our stay. We had one key for three couples which was very inconvenient. The host told us we would receive additional keys and several mentioned issues addressed, but no one ever showed up. Overall, this property does not meet basic safety and comfort standards. Until these issues are addressed, we cannot recommend staying here.

Location, location, location. The apartment was well decorated and very clean. Plenty of plates, glassware and eating utensils. Once we got into Brussels the communication was easy, and we received quick responses. The living spaces are comfortable and have amazing views. Did I mention the location?

Getting the keys involved walking ten minutes out of the way, at night, after 20+ hours of travel, dragging luggage behind us over cobblestone streets. The apartment is not well stocked for cooking and preparing meals at home- very few pots and pans and no oven safe cookware. The elevator decided to not work with my daughter stuck in it between floors. The downstairs bedroom is lacking a window covering and the alley behind regularly has workers from the restaurant next door in it.

Location was amazing! Beds very comfortable. Very nice bathrooms and very clean.

My only complaint would be the stained rigs in the living room and second bedroom. But apartment was clean!

We had some encounters with mice in the kitchen getting into the garbage and no cleaning services over our 10 day stay.

The property is absolutely stunning. The views from the apartment are unbeatable and you get the best view of grand place. The property is fully equipped with all you need and looks even better than the images. I would definitely book again.

The host was there to meet us at the property and go over all of the amenities. You cannot beat the location. It is literally in the heart of the city at the Grand Place. I had no idea that we would be visiting while there was going to be celebrations going on for Belgium, so this was just an added bonus. It was loud because of the preparations for the events and the events were loud, but we didn't mind because we had the best seats to watch everything. The bedrooms are located away from the main living area and once you retreated to the bedrooms you could not hear anything from the square. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were up to date and very clean. The bedrooms are air conditioned thank goodness because it was extremely hot when we visited. The flat is only a short 5 minute walk from the Central Station which is a bonus for day trips to other locations in Belgium. Should we ever visit Brussels again, we would definitely stay here again.

The main living area does not have air conditioning, so that was the only drawback as sitting in the living room area was quite hot even with the windows open. There was a floor fan which did help with air circulation.

Fantastic location, plenty of space for a family of 8.
