Appartement Vieux-Port

The apartment was located centrally, close to a plethora of cafes and restaurants. The apartment was small but suited our needs for the short period we stayed in Marseille. The host was contactable and promptly responded to queries. We felt secure in the apartment. It was hot during our stay (heatwave in summer) so the fan was a must!

Note for travellers that many places in France do not have aircon! There was a fan at this apartment and you can open the windows when it cools.

Super emplacement dans une rue calme proche du vieux port. L’appartement est particulièrement propre, bien équipé et confortable, et l’accueil sympathique.

L’appartement n’est pas très adapté aux fortes chaleurs : malgré la présence d’un ventilateur de très bonne qualité, l’absence de Clim et la mono-orientation sur cour rend l’appartement très chaud.

Ekstrem god beliggenhed, med hyggelige caféer på gaden. Hyggeligt sted, med alt det man har brug for. Meget rent og sikkert område. Værterne var venlige, og alting fungerede som det skulle. Jeg ville komme tilbage til dette sted, hvis jeg var i Marseille !

Sove sofaen larmede lidt, og sank lidt i midten, men det er ikke nok til at forstyrre, og jeg ville stadig varmt anbefale denne lejlighed :D

Nice colors of the furniture, quite ventilator, location

Quite a lot:( 1. You don’t see it on the photos, but you’ve got no view in the apartment. It’s just another building a few meters away from your window. In our case there was also a construction site. 2. Although the next building is very close, there were no curtains in the kitchen. Only in the living room. So while you’re eating you see construction workers and construction workers see you… 3. The most annoying part. There is a problem with pipes in this apartment. In the kitchen we had only hot water and in the bathroom only cold.. So at the end I was showering with bowls and a vase to wash my body with the warm water. The issue wasn’t resolved during our stay. Although I’ve asked, we didn’t get any compensation for this. 4. Check-in. Once you arrived you have to wait 15-20 minutes till a guy with the keys will come to open the apartment. One more inconvenience, although there are so many systems to make check-in independent or more smoothly..
