Brunia Bay Apartment

The location was excellent. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed including a heater for the cold evenings. The constant sound of the waves was great, and the nearby coastal pathway was safe and convenient for morning walks with enough benches along the way to sit down and watch the waves roll in. It is the perfect place to spend a quiet and relaxing few days. The information regarding the location of the beaches (swim and surf), restaurants, look-out and other place of interest in Hermanus was brilliantly presented and very useful. Thank you, Charlie, we now know Hermanus much better.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights for a mini getaway. We felt safe & very much at home. Charlie - the host - was so welcoming and incredibly helpful. She and her husband went out of their way to help us reconnect to Netflix despite several attempts after hours. The unit was fresh, modern and clean as were the utensils and facilities. The proximity of the ocean meant a quick walk to a bench with a 180 degree ocean view. Fairy lights go on as darkness falls which makes a wonderfully cosy and inviting ambience. We didn’t braai but there is a great set up if you do want to fire up the coals - we used the microwave in the unit. The unit is out of the hustle and bustle of the main business area but close enough to drive there or to the mall or shops.
