The cottage is a completely charming place to relax and spend some quiet time. The owners have created a comfortable and cozy spot. The kitchen and bathroom are thoughtfully equipped. The river view is outstanding! Don't be concerned about it being in a neighborhood. The cottage is tucked away right next to the river. The neighborhood is very private, wooded, and lovely. We met several of the neighbors on our evening walks and they were very nice!
The owners provided restaurant suggestions in the welcome binder and we took their suggestion and had fantastic Thai food!
We are looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely stunning location right on the Willamette River, with two kayaks for us to use. You do have to drag them down and back up a steep hill, but the location is so beautiful and a great river to kayak on or just watch while sitting on the spacious patio. The place was very clean and had some nice snacks left for us. The neighborhood is beautiful.
The loft sleeping area is up very steep stairs, almost like a ladder. And the ceiling is very pitched. I hit my head pretty hard once. People need to be warned about the stairs. If you have any mobility issues, this is definitely not going to work for you. If you are okay climbing very narrow but tall stairs while bending over to not hit your head, it's a wonderful place.
