Sittingbourne 1 bed self-contained annex, with parking

Great self contained annex with everything needed for a short or long stay. Comfortable and clean with all amenities covered. TV, WiFi, work desk, wardrobe, drawers, washing machine and dryer. Small oven and microwave. Tea, coffee and milk sachets - even takeaway cups! Powerful shower, toiletries and towels supplied. Parking right in front of the annexe

The only thing I would change was the outlook onto the owners garden, which although it was a lovely garden, we felt the need for the blinds to be closed. The windows could maybe do with some window frosting to allow for more privacy while allowing natural lighting 😊 This was only an issue when showering and dressing. Everything else was great!

This was a lovely place to stay. Super clean, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, a work space, the ability to make a cup of tea or prepare simple food, and lots of thoughtful touches. The fan was particularly appreciated as it was a very warm few days. I didn’t have a car, but the ability to park a car on the property would be a big advantage to many. It was nice to have a view of the garden, and the unit is well back from the road so there was no problem with traffic noise. It felt more spacious than staying in a hotel room, and the arrangements for arrival and departure were very simple.

Some other reviews have mentioned that you can hear the family at breakfast time. This is true, but given I was getting up anyway, it did not inconvenience me at all.

Conveniently placed for us; we were attending a wedding. Clean bathroom and bedroom.

There was a lot of clutter in the space; we couldn’t hang anything in the wardrobe as there were duvets and towels stacked there. There were objects placed on every available shelf space, so we had to move those to create space for ourselves. There was a children’s small table and chairs and toys in the drawers. There was a glass cabinet behind the door that guests could not access as it had locks on. The whole space felt like a dumping ground for stuff that couldn’t be stored in the main house.
