H Avenue Gyeongju Bulkuk temple

The rooms are very comfortable. The famous Bulguksa Temple is nearby, which allows you to see it early in the morning before the tour buses arrive. The neighbourhood has some restaurants and shops, but it's not exactly lively.

It's a rather lengthy 45min bus ride to the center of town.

Großes Zimmer, sauber und mit Amenity Kit versorgt. WC und Dusche getrennt und Waschtisch extra. Sehr ruhige Lage und nah am Tempel. Zu Fuß sind es ca. 10 Minuten. Im Mai war es sehr ruhig, auch in der Umgebung. Wir haben dann noch etwas zu Essen gefunden aber es gibt viel Leerstand im Ort. Der Bus braucht ca. 1 Stunde bis zur Stadt. Wenn man noch andere Tempel oder Stätten besuchen möchte braucht man viel Zeit mit dem Bus oder man braucht doch ein Auto.

Das Frühstück ist inklusive aber so gut wie nichts. Es gibt Lavaeier ( behandelte, gekochte Eier, die erstmal normal aussehen aber speziell schmecken) und Toast mit Marmelade, sowie Cornflakes und Milch. Alles vom Pappgeschirr und ein Holzstäbchen zum Streichen. Kaffee steht kostenlos zur Verfügung.

- spacious room with excellent facilities -modern hotel with good amenities -very clean - basic and acceptable breakfast - well situated for Bulguksa temple and national park - well connected by bus to Gyeoungu centre (1500 won flat fare for adults) and 20 mins journey -close to tourist office with bus timetables ( up the hill) - plenty of restaurants ( they close around 8 pm) and a fantastic bb.q fried chicken restaurant (open later)

- limited English spoken by staff- google translate helped - it would be a nice idea to have a typed handout with info on buses with timetable , at reception ( timetable attached) -not a problem for us but it’s a walk uphill to restaurants and the temple, so if you have mobility issues may not be ideal T -train station is not near but the 711 bus from station takes you to top of hill or a Uber taxi from station

I choose a very expensive room, so it was overly large and accessoried. Very clean and absolutely silent. All al was high quality, bathroom, kitchen, bathtub, bed.

I booked a triple room, but for the kid (8 years old), there was no bed, not even a sofabed. Just a couch, without even bed sheets. Crazy. Particularly considering the cost of the room and the size of the room.
